As part of an ongoing referee exchange programme with the Irish Football Association, this coming weekend Maltese referees will be in charge of matches from the Northern Irish Premier Division, the Malta FA said in a statement.

On Saturday, Christopher Lautier, Fyodor Zammit, Alan Camilleri and Peter Abela will all be involved in two matches in Belfast.

Lautier will referee the match between Cliftonville and Institute at the Solitude Stadium.

He will be assisted by Abela and Gareth Eakin (Irish FA). Mervyn Smyth (Irish FA) will be the fourth official. UEFA Referee Observer Alan Snoddy will assess the match officials’ performance.

Zammit will be in charge of Glentoran-Dungannon Swifts scheduled for the Oval Stadium.

Camilleri and George Argyropoulos (Irish FA) will be the linesmen and Andrew Davey (Irish FA) fourth official. They will be assessed by UEFA Referee Observer John Ferry.
