The police are investigating the circumstances which led to two cars being destroyed by fire last night.

Both cars were parked.

The first car was an old Mercedes which was reported on fire shortly after 2am in Triq K Mifsud in Pieta’.

The second car, a Toyota, caught fire in St Francis Street, Cospicua, about 15 minutes later.
