Over 70 students from private, Church and State schools visited the Central Bank of Malta at Castille Place, Valletta. They attended a presentation on the bank’s role and functions and viewed the exhibition of coins and banknotes. The visit, organised by the Malta Bankers’ Association, formed part of the European Money Week activities aimed at raising public awareness on the importance of financial literacy from an early age, and of the need to improve students’ financial education.
