Go will be launching 4G this year, being provided through an agreement with Nokia Networks, which will include a major overhaul of Go’s national Radio Access Network.

Kelvin Camenzuli, Go’s chief technical officer, said: “This substantial investment is in line with Go’s ongoing strategy to deliver the best communications and entertainment experience and to provide the benefits of the latest technology and connectivity to personal customers and business.

“It is also one of several significant investments Go will be undertaking this year and which are all geared towards giving customers a better experience and greater choice.’’
