A 30-year-old man from Cospicua was charged in court today with threatening two police officers who intervened to break up an argument he had with another person.

Felix Barbara pleaded not guilty to threatening a sergeant and a constable, disobeying the police, breaching the peace and relapsing in Cospicua seafront on Saturday at about 2am.

He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €3,000.
Police Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted.
