Banking on Women (BoW), a voluntary association within HSBC Bank Malta that aims to support women in reaching career ambitions within the bank as well as other life goals, will be organising a host of social activities, including cooking lessons, parenting skills sessions and expert talks.

The association also holds regular philanthropic, developmental and cultural events.

BoW president Natalie Meilak said that moving away from tradition, the association would be encouraging the participation of men in its activities.

“We have evolved organically for more than a decade and are now encouraging both women and men to take part,” she said.

The new committee is made up of membership secretary Alexandra Pace, secretary Charmaine Attard, treasurer Laverne Calleja Pace, PR officer Samantha Hollyoak, events coordinator Loredana Mallia and member Elizabeth Vella.
