Jien nemmen f’Ġesù?! (Do I believe in Jesus?!) is an original theatrical production that portrays the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, organised by community youth group Ignite 18+ at the Sacred Heart Oratory of Mosta.

Three presentations will be held on March 28 at 6.30pm and on March 29 at 2.30pm and 6.30pm.

Directed by Marvic Camilleri, the production is based on an original script that weaves the letters of the apostles within the evangelical events leading to the passion of Christ.

This year’s production incorporates the efforts of more than 40 people, many of whom are still young, while others have acquired extensive theatrical experience. The scope of these Lent pageants is not restrained to the spectacular features usually associated with similar productions but, more importantly to provide the audience with an exercise of reflection.

Jien nemmen f’Ġesù?! is a theatrical experience that moves faithfully in line with both evangelical sources and real-life situations that characterise current times.
