Enemalta employees welcomed over 3,000 visitors to the Marsa Power Station during the Open Weekend held yesterday and today.

Visitors were taken on one-hour tours of the power station guided by engineers and technicians who operated its plants until it was switched off and put on cold standby a few days ago.

Enemalta thanked customers who accepted its invitation to learn about electricity generation and the development of the Marsa Power Station since it was inaugurated in 1953.
