Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils from Gozo Gollege’s San Lawrenz Primary went on a science eco-trail.

They walked down to Dwejra, along an ancient, rarely used, rock-hewn path and alongside abandoned quarries in the area. The pupils learnt about local flora and fauna, identified various illegal dump sites in the area, saw the rock layers in the cliff side, cart ruts and the effects of wind erosion.

The event was organised by science teacher Joseph Gatt in collaboration with Ekoskola coordinator Marvic Refalo.
