Paragon Europe is hosting Malta Water Week between March 23 and 27 at the Excelsior Hotel, aimed at encouraging SMEs to seek funding for their water-related projects.

Paragon Europe is a Maltese company that helps local and international companies meet European counterparts to develop mutual EU projects, business collaborations and source research and innovation finance.

“We tend to think of innovation as something which is too costly for us, something that has to be complicated and original,” Paragon’s director Anton Theuma said.

“Innovation can be much simpler than that – such as seeing opportunities and adapting them to our particular market. Few people are aware that Malta is in fact at the forefront of some aspects of water management and re-use and the country has a lot to share on best practices and how to be innovative in this sector.”

During Malta Water Week, participants from all over Europe will be showcasing their innovations and demonstrating how Maltese entrepreneurs can collaborate with European and international counterparts.
