Ulvestad: Burnley have signed Norwegian midfielder Fredrik Ulvestad on a three-year deal. The 22-year-old was a free agent after opting not to renew terms at home-town club Aalesunds FK and has put pen to paper following a spell training with the Clarets.
Maicon: Roma wing-back is expected to declare himself free from injury and make a comeback in the Europa League last 16 second leg against Fiorentina next week. Charged: Three men have been charged by police investigating disorder which marred Aston Villa’s FA Cup quarter-final victory over West Brom. West Midlands Police said the men, aged between 26 and 37, had been charged with offences connected to the match after officers made a total of 17 arrests inside and outside Villa Park.
