BECK. On March 9, MARY BECK BINETT of Gżira, director, Beck Graphics Ltd, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her dear and beloved brothers Paul and Alfred, widower of Mary, her beloved nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. BORG. On March 8, NORMAN, of Ħamrun, residing in Birkirkara, aged 61 years, passed peacefully away comforted by the Rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Carmen, his children Bjorn, Matthew, Daniel, and Carmelina and her husband David, his grandchildren, his brothers Charlie and his wife Emily, Fr Martin and Br David, discalced carmelites (OCD), his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves his home tomorrow, at 1.45pm, for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. MERCIECA. On March 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAULINE, née Esposito, of Swieqi, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. Dearly missed and never forgotten by her daughter Christine, widow of Mario Debono, her sons Alex and Mark, her grandchildren Brooke and Whitney, her sister Julie Esposito, her brother Joseph and his wife Dorothy Esposito, her sisters-in-law Josephine, widow of Francis Gauci, Donnia and her husband John J. Xuereb, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for Ibraġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No Flowers by request but donation to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.
GALEA PACE. On March 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICTOR, aged 72, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife Vivienne, his sons Kurt, Mark and his wife Ruth, his beloved grandchildren Nicola and Jordan, his brothers and sisters and their respective families, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15am for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45am, followed by a cortege leaving for Gozo. There, another Mass praesente cadavere will be held at St George’s Basilica, Victoria, at 4pm. This will be followed by burial at St Mary’s cemetery, l/o Xewkija. VELLA. On March 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE, née Rapa, widow of Benjamin, aged 98, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Saviour and his wife Edith, Mary and her husband Paul Vassallo, and Alessandra, widow of her son Joseph, her grandchildren, their spouses and fiancées, her great-granddaughter, relatives and friends.
