I wish once again to draw the attention of the public to Expo 2015, which will open in two months’ time in Milan. Twenty million visitors are expected, but along Via Dante and the Corso they will not see the Maltese flag. There are 140 flag poles seven metres high, each representing the participating nations.

So far, the Maltese flag is nowhere to be seen. Malta is taking part, but we have heard very little from Malta’s Expo Commissioner, my friend John Mamo, or the government.

We now know that at the Expo Malta will have some space together with Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Greece, Lebanon, Montenegro, San Marino, Serbia and Tunisia.

Quite a mixture of bedfellows and, so far, I cannot find where exactly this cluster will be located.
