The annual Careers Convention organised by the University Students Council (KSU) was held at the University Qudrangle last week. The three-day event showcased a diverse range of job opportunities available for students after they graduate from University.

This year, 21 companies took part in the convention. There were also tents dedicated to opportunities in the law, business and humanities sectors; a tent on recruitment, manned by Employment and Training Corporation and the European job mobility portal EURES; and a science and technology tent coordinated in collaboration with student organisations IAESTE and S-Cubed.

Among the visitors to the event were President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, Education Minister Evarist Bartolo, Opposition leader Simon Busuttil and shadow minister for education and employment Therese Commodini Cachia.
