The Journey was mastered at Metropolis Studios in London by John Davis, who recently worked on the Led Zeppelin reissues mastered with Jimmy Page, as well as new albums by Lana Del Rey and Prodigy. The design and art direction was done by Ed Dingli.

In conjunction with the launch of The Journey, Winter Moods released the third song from the album, an upbeat track titled ‘Flowers And Cash’. The video for ‘Flowers And Cash’ was filmed by Railway Studios and directed by Matthew James Borg.

The album marks Winter Moods’ 30th year together as a band.

Frontman Ivan Grech said, “The past 30 years have been a remarkable journey, we have seen the music scene evolve drastically and we have survived with many stories to tell. The Journey brought us together and challenged us in different ways, and the end product is something we are very proud of.”

The Journey is dedicated to Steve Caruana Smith (Serp), ex-member and one of the founders of Winter Moods who passed away in 2012.
