I am confident our new Archbishop has what it takes to spring clean the Church of its cobwebs.

Mgr Charles Scicluna should begin by compensating those abused by the clergy. Why should those poor chaps be made to go through hell to get what they really deserve?

One common observation made by many parishioners is that the Sunday Mass sermon should not take longer than 10 minutes.

Suggestion boxes should be introduced in all parish churches and complaints addressed.

Village feast paganism should be shown the red card soonest.

These are just a few irksome situations that have been blemishing the Church for long enough. May the Lord shower His blessings upon our new Archbishop and help him lead the Church of Malta the ‘Pope Francis way’.
