Investigations made by the education authorities have found no evidence of drug-taking at Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School, Education Minister Evarist Bartolo told Claudette Buttigieg (PN) in reply to a parliamentary question.

He confirmed that the investigation was made after a newspaper report.

He said a mother and a student who had made claims about drug-taking in the school were being given assistance. Assistance to the boy started before the newspaper report appeared.

The police Druq Squad has also been asked to investigate.
