The ‘No’ campaign for the spring hunting referendum, which will be held on April 11, is focusing on everything but the two species of birds that can be caught under capping through the derogation. The actual referendum question is not being considered anymore and their goal has shifted.

Moira Delia should substantiate her alarmist claims that members of the public were hit by gunshots during the 20 half-days of last year’s spring hunting season.

If such cases truly happened, she could also elaborate on the members of the public who required medical assistance following these alleged cases.

Failure to validate her claims would confirm that the ‘No’ campaign is simply a scaremongering exercise aimed to instil fear of the hunting community.
