• Europa Donna Malta Breast Care Support Group will hold its annual breast cancer awareness walk next Sunday, leaving at 10am from The Mall, Floriana, and ending at Sliema Ferries.

• Antonio Ernesto Denunzio, head curator of the Gallerie di Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano in Naples, will deliver a lecture entitled ‘Chi l’ha visto… ha stupito il martirio di Sant’Orsola, epilogo dell’attività di Caravaggio a Napoli’ on Wednesday at 5pm at the science lecture theatre at the Msida campus. The lecture is part of the Caravaggio studies programme of the University’s History of Art Department.

• Our Lady of the Lily Band Club, in collaboration with Mqabba parish, is organising Lent sermons today, tomorrow and Wednesday at 7.30pm at the band club’s premises. The talks will be led by parish priest John Curmi and are addressed to youths. For more information, visit www.talgilju.com.

• On the occasion of Women’s Day, Hospice Malta is organising a buffet brunch at the Blue Creek Restaurant, Għar Lapsi, l/o Siġġiewi, on Thursday from 9.30am to 1pm. A guest speaker will attend. Transport is available from Hospice strictly by booking.
