A DJ who was twice convicted of engaging in sexual activities with minors at his
teen parties said he has organised “countless” other events attracting 17-year-old girls, as a new claim of wrongdoing surfaced.

Yesterday, another teenage girl made claims against Joel Caruana on social
media. Mr Caruana denied wrongdoing and said he would seek legal advice.

Mr Caruana organised a party last night attracting girls as young as 17.
The event themed ‘Girls Invasion’ was held at a Paceville club and came under scathing criticism on social media.

Asked if the girls were all adults, Mr Caruana said they were all “old enough to enter clubs” – 17. He insisted he no longer hosts parties targeting girls as young as 13, and instead has limited himself to events for those aged 17 and over.

“I have done nothing wrong. As far as I am concerned I am not a sex offender... I shouldn’t be on any sex offender list,” Mr  Caruana, 24, told The Sunday Times
of Malta.

He  has been on the sex offenders list since he was sentenced to a 10-month prison term, suspended for two years, for engaging in sexual acts with a 13-year-old girl in 2010. He also received a second suspended jail term after he was pictured cupping the breast of a 14-year-old girl at one of his contentious ‘I Love Music’ teen parties three years later.
