The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology held its first agribusiness symposium during which research in agriculture and related sectors carried out by students in the college’s BSc (Hons) Animal Management and BSc Horticulture courses was presented.

The research focused on the local animal husbandry and horticultural industry and was aimed at improving its efficiency, productivity and long-term sustainability. The symposium also dealt with wildlife conservation, veterinary services and fish management in aquaculture.
