To mark the 25th anniversary of Frank Salt Real Estate’s flagship Gozo branch, the company hosted its key service providers and clients to a reception at Palazzo Palina at Ta’Ċenċ, Sannat.
“I congratulate and thank the staff working at the branch, spearheaded by manager Marie Grech,” said Frank Salt Real Estate Group of Companies chairman Frank Salt.
“Their years of exemplary service and tireless dedication and commitment to offering the best of service have definitely paid off. Twenty-five years ago, we were the first Malta-based estate agency to see the huge potential Gozo had to offer, and while the journey was not always an easy one, we are today a leading real estate name, reflecting the brand values held dear by all 14 branches,” he added.
Ms Grech said: “Back then, we had to change perceptions. It required people to shift from the middleman mentality prevailing at the time, which took some encouragement, but we soon adapted to the idea.”
In the 1980s it was mostly foreigners who sought property in Gozo. People regularly fell in love with the island while on holiday and they would be eager to purchase property. Since then, the market has gone through all sorts of highs and lows.
“In the early 1990s, there was a surge of Maltese wanting to purchase holiday homes in Gozo. Meanwhile, new international markets also emerged, and keep doing so till this very day.”
In addition to the sales and rentals of property, Frank Salt Real Estate offers a range of supplementary services, including property management and maintenance, pool servicing and property finishing and furnishing.
