The General Workers' Union has refused a Nationalist Party invitation to discuss the future of Enemalta employees.

The PN said in a statement Opposition shadow ministers Marthese Portelli and Therese Commodini Cachia were holding meetings with Enemalta employees and their unions to discuss the uncertainty workers had about their future.

The shadow ministers yesterday had a meeting with the Senior Staff Union. The PN said it invited all unions that had members in Enemalta for meetings but the General Workers’ Union refused the invitation.
