Alternattiva Demokratika councillors would work for more investment in cultural activities and in public libraries, for the protection of open spaces, and improved accessibility, chairman Arnold Cassola said.

He said elected councillors would also work to increase road spaces for cyclists and for improving facilities for pedestrians.
Qormi candidate Henrik Piski said:

"If elected, I will work to increase the sense of community and cooperate with local organisations in organising cultural activities, educational and sports events. Publications and informational signs concerning places of historical should be updated and set up for the benefit of locals and tourists alike.”

He promised to work for more indigenous trees to be planted and to increase pedestrianised areas and bicycle tracks around Qormi.

He said he would also work to improve air quality through the modernisation of ovens of local bakeries and their chimneys.

“I will lobby to stop unfettered construction in our town," he said.
