The hunting lobby is urging voters to head to the polls and vote Yes to retain spring hunting, Times of Malta has learnt.
The official campaign will be launched tomorrow but lawyer Kathleen Grima confirmed this evening on TVM programme Xarabank that the lobby group had long ditched the possibility of calling on voters to abstain from voting.
Times of Malta's sources said the hunters' campaign would mostly be a “positive” one.
The hunting lobby had so far declined to reveal its intentions more than a month after the anti-spring hunting lobby unveiled its Shout (spring hunting out) campaign.
The abrogative referendum, being held on April 11, will ask voters whether they want to retain the legal notice which makes spring hunting possible.
