A South Korean man and woman suffered minor injuries when they stepped off a bus and fell into a sinkhole in Seoul.

The accident on February 20 was captured by a CCTV camera. It shows the two people in their 20s getting off the bus and taking a couple of steps before stepping on to an area of the sidewalk that gave way.

Rescue crews lifted them out of the hole using a crane. The Yonsan Fire Station says they were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The Yonsan Fire Station added that the hole was about 1.2 metres wide and three metres deep.
