Jorgensen: Former Denmark midfielder Martin Jorgensen, who quit as a player last year, has joined the national team’s coaching staff. Jorgensen, 39, made his name at AGF Aarhus before going on to win 102 caps and scoring 12 goals for his country. He also had spells in Italy with Udinese and Fiorentina before returning to AGF Aarhus to finish his career.

Cellino: Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has announced he will not return to the club when his Football League ban ends in April. Instead, the Italian, who was disqualified in January from having anything to do with the running of the Championship outfit until April 10, will fight to clear his name as an independent citizen. At the time, the 58-year-old indicated he intended to return to Elland Road when his disqualification period ended.

Keeper’s brawl: Non-league side Kingstonian have launched an investigation after goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey brawled on the terraces with opposition fans after a defeat to Bognor Regis. The incident at the end of Monday night’s Ryman League Premier Division match, which was captured on video, saw Tolfrey climb over advertising hoardings and confront a supporter near the front of the stand, with other bystanders appearing to become involved.

Atkinson: Referee Martin Atkinson, who was at the centre of the controversial sending off of Chelsea Nemanja Matic on Saturday, will not take charge of a match this weekend. Atkinson was in the spotlight for his decision not to take action against Burnley’s Ashley Barnes for a studs-up challenge on Matic.

Hendry: Former Scotland captain Colin Hendry has been charged with drink driving. Hendry was arrested after being stopped while behind the wheel of a blue Ford Focus last Saturday on Church Road in Lytham, Lancashire. Hendry, 49, retired in 2003 after a 20-year career during which he won the 1995 Premier League title with Blackburn Rovers and earned 51 caps for his country.
