Hazard Jr: Chelsea’s Thorgan Hazard has agreed to make his loan move to Borussia Moenchengladbach permanent. Hazard, the 21-year-old younger brother of Blues star Eden, moved to the German side at the start of the season and, with his Chelsea deal expiring in the summer, he will now stay until 2020.

Parks: Tony Parks has joined Aston Villa as goalkeeping coach as Tim Sherwood continues to revamp his backroom staff. The former Tottenham keeper has arrived from Norwich, where he had worked since 2014. Parks worked with Sherwood when he was in charge at Spurs and left following Sherwood’s exit from White Hart Lane in 2014.

Nene: West Ham boss Sam Allar-dyce will hand Nene his debut against Crystal Palace on Saturday. The 33-year-old Brazilian forward arrived last week on a free transfer but was not deemed ready for a place in the squad for Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Tottenham. But an injury to Carlton Cole has reduced Allar-dyce’s options and he has promised Nene a first taste of English football against Palace.

Coventry: Coventry have parted company with boss Steven Pressley, the club have announced. The Sky Blues lost a 2-0 lead against 10 men at Sheffield United on Saturday to draw 2-2 and fall into the bottom four in League One.

Rangers: Fan group Rangers First now owns two per cent of the Scottish Championship club after extending their Light Blues shareholding to 1.6 million shares. The group has already announced it will use its now combined 2.5 per cent stake to back Dave King’s bid to oust directors David Somers, James Easdale, Derek Llambias and Barry Leach.
