A Christian music festival featuring singers, bands and gospel choirs from Malta and Gozo will be held from February 27 to March 7 at the Don Bosco Oratory Theatre, Victoria. The oratory is organising the event as part of the bicentenary celebrations marking the birth of St John Bosco, patron saint of youths.

The opening night will feature the bands Rise from Malta and Light from Gozo. The next day a Christian song and singers festival will be held including a gospel choir concert by The Joy Gospel Singers, and performances by various singers, including Mario Caruana.

The second weekend will feature three Christian bands – Footprints and Eversity from Malta and Strait Ahead from Gozo. The last concert on March 7 will feature the Animae Gospel Choir.

All concerts start at 7.30pm. Entrance is free.

The festival is supported by the EU Leader Programme and is part-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
