Bookings are now open for school visits to the National Students Travel Foundation (NSTF) Science Days in Gozo, to be held from March 9 to 11. Places are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Apart from showcasing students’ projects and work in a number of science programmes, the event will also feature interactive sessions on a wide array of topics ranging from DNA to astronomy.

NSTF secretary general Francis Stivala said that last year over a thousand students had visited the event.

Gozo Minister Anton Refalo said that following last year’s success the ministry had teamed up with NSTF to organise the second edition of the event. He encouraged students and schools to participate, adding that such programmes were important catalysts to draw students closer to science.
