Bachelor of Education (Hons) students and staff from the University’s Faculty of Education visited children’s wards at Mater Dei Hospital in an activity to mark World Day of the Sick.

During the visit, the children in the wards took part in various educational activities, including children’s literature, science experiments, games and crafts prepared by the students with the staff’s support.

The students and staff, with the support of sponsors, also donated books and educational toys to the children and to the children’s library at the hospital.

The activity was organised by the Staff Development and Wellbeing committee of the University’s Faculty of Education, in collaboration with the Malta University Student Teachers (MUST).
