The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology has launched a new prospectus with over 270 part-time courses, including 21 new ones.

The courses include beekeeping, advanced gardening, basic water science, fashion design, photography, interior design and decoration, tailoring, various specialised courses in welding, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, leadership and management, hair-cutting techniques, personal training, microelectronics, Java platform programming and yachting.

The courses are held across the MCAST campuses in Malta and Gozo.

Five specialised courses are also aimed at businesses and companies looking to improve their operations.

They include courses on managing one’s own business, implementing quality management, procurement and supply, and warehousing and storage.

Another course aimed at businessmen and private citizens offers an introduction to Chinese language and culture.

The courses are held during evenings or on Saturdays at an Mcast campus. They are aimed at people looking to improve their certification, change their job, taking up a hobby or simply interested in acquiring knowledge.

Applications open tomorrow and close on March 13. They can be submited in person at Mcast, Paola, by post or online.
