It was full house at Progress Press on February 5 and 6 as over 80 individuals attended a workshop entitled Expanding your Creative Freedom with Digital Printing.

The focus of this event was the company’s new digital print line – the HP indigo 7600 series.

Advertising agencies, estate agents, publishers, print brokers and designers, as well as marketing managers from a cross-section of local enterprise, turned up to hear Paul Regan, sales director for FE Burman Ltd in London, explain the benefits and multi-purpose use of this stellar machine.

The HP indigo 7600 series delivers optimum print quality and a vast array of personalisation options, together a number of distinguished features such as raised ink effects and embossing.

At the end of each session, participants took home a personalised goodie bag which included, among other items, a newly designed paper swatch book by Progress Press.

Founded in 1922 as a newspaper printer and then moving on to include commercial sheet-fed printing, Progress Press has over the years invested heavily in state-of-the-art technology.

It is the first company to host an HP indigo 7 series in Malta, with 1,200 machines installed across 50 countries worldwide. Progress Press is also equipped with a dedicated Horizon finishing line to accompany the digital press, making it the largest digital setup in Malta.

This initiative was possible thanks to the support of Kasco, local HP support, as well as HP indigo.
