The General Workers’ Union has accused Spanish-owned Malta Public Transport of attempting to undermine the trade union recognition it enjoys.

It said officials of the UHM had been given information on changes in the work posts of bus drivers when such information was never given to the GWU as the recognised union.

The GWU said it has written to Malta Public Transport seeking clarification.
