Unfortunately, the situation in public transport has not improved since the change of ownership. The service remains as unreliable as ever: bus drivers don’t know where they are going to, provide the wrong information to their customers and would rather spend their time eating, smoking or talking to their colleagues.

The other day, my bus trip from the Marsa park-and-ride ended back at Marsa park-and- ride. I had asked the driver and the supervisor whether the bus was heading to Pembroke and they both confirmed, only to realise later – at Mater Dei Hospital – we were heading back to Marsa.
