I feel I have to write to strongly complain about children being allowed to stand inside supermarket trolleys.

I have complained several times to the customer care at my local supermarket. Though they agree with me, they say they can’t do anything about it because the customer takes no notice.

Surely a notice could be put up near the trolleys to stop this abuse. After all, we have to put food in those trolleys and children do have dirty shoes. What if they have stepped on some dirt before they came inside the supermarket?

Something should be done immediately about this very unhygienic habit.

I have taken to bringing along a sheet of plastic to place at the bottom of my trolley. It is the only way to keep my food free of dirt left by children’s shoes.
