The play-offs line-up was decided last weekend after Honey Athleta upstaged DHL Phoenix at the start of the third round and Hibs downed PAVI Depiro.

Caffe Moak Luxol, Honey Athleta, PAVI Depiro and Hibs will contest the play-offs.

Hibs booked their place in the deciders thanks to their hard-fought victory over Depiro who succumbed to their third defeat in a week.

The match developed into a tight affair with Hibs securing victory in the final stages.

Depiro had been in command until the third quarter but Hibs came back strongly in the last 10 minutes.

The game was off to a balanced start with Depiro opening a seven-point lead midway through the second quarter, changing ends 26-21 ahead.

Depiro increased their advantage to 36-23 after the interval but Hibernians refused to lie down as they cut the gap to six points, 42-36, for the last session.

As the last quarter got underway, Hibs enjoyed a 10-point scoring run to go 46-42 ahead. Depiro hit back to level twice but in the dying seconds, Christine Grima’s basket and free-throw settled the issue in Hibs’ favour, 55-52.

Athleta extended their good run of form after trouncing bottom-placed Phoenix 62-23.

By the interval, Athleta had already built a 19-point lead, 28-9.

They continued to press home their superiority, especially in the third quarter when they increased their advantage to 48-12.
