The president of the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses, Paul Pace, is proud of his achievement of delaying the transfer of operations from Boffa Hospital to the new Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology facilities because of parking issues.
His achievement will be remembered by the fact that, through his actions, he is causing undue pain to the suffering cancer patients and not to any health ministry officials.
If he has any respect to the profession he chose he would not be playing with the lives of such vulnerable people and find other ways for his causes.
In modern times people like him are only a hindrance to a country moving forward with the right set of values and priorities.
