Smart Technologies has installed digital signage equipment at Hilton Malta. The latest in digital signage equipment displays general information about the hotel and its amenities, assists patrons in finding their way around the hotel, and portrays lists of scheduled events at Hilton’s business centre.

Digital signage is increasingly becoming an important technology used by hotels to enhance customer experience.

The solution installed at Hilton Malta is cloud-based and offers a lot of functionality for the management of multiple screens by allowing grouping of screens and a scheduler for all material. One can even prioritise media to be displayed over existing content.

Localities, museums and shopping malls are also applying digital signage as a map-finding facility to help visitors orientate themselves and make sure they do not miss out on certain information. Even car showrooms are introducing free-standing digital totems that offer information about car models.
