Nadur launched its carnival activities last Sunday in the village’s St Peter and St Paul Square, with several dancing competitions for adults and children in colourful costumes, and marches by Mnarja Band under the direction of Joseph Grech. Nadur mayor Charles Said presented mementos to the participants. The Nadur spontaneous carnival, during which revellers make heavy use of satire, continues in the evenings today, tomorrow and on Tuesday in the square and in December 13th Street.
