• L-Għaġina tan-Nanna, a hands-on educational event for children aged nine to 13, will be held by Heritage Malta tomorrow and on Tuesday from 9.30am to noon at Ta’ Kola Windmill, Xagħra. Participants, who may come in fancy dress and traditional costumes, will be given a tour of the windmill followed by a session of traditional pastry making. They will also be given a free copy of Heritage Malta’s latest publication for children, L-Ewwel 35 Miljun Sena ta’ Ħajti, traditional pastry recipes and a certificate of attendance. Tickets cost €5. • A blood donation session will be held at Gozo General Hospital’s Outpatients Department on Tuesday from 1 to 5pm.

• University lecturer Olvin Vella will give a lecture on Saturday at 10.30am on why Gozo historian Ġ.P.F. Agius de Soldanis, described Malta as African in his Gozo Anticomoderno e Sacro-profano. The lecture, which will be in Maltese, is being organised by Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria at Il-Ħaġar, St George’s Square, Victoria, to mark the second anniversary of the museum’s inaugration. Admission is free of charge.

• Mr Morgan’s Last Love will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, on Saturday at 8.30pm.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at St Augustine church, Victoria.
