Xrobb l-Għaġin Nature Park and Centre for Sustainable Development hosted 140 pupils from four schools for a series of hands-on activities.

The children sowed seeds of indigenous trees provided by the Parks Directorate and took part in leaf art, tree identification and forest trail exercises.

The activities were tailor-made to maximise the pupils’ outdoor learning experience.

This was the second consecutive year this event has been organised for kindergarten and primary year pupils by the Department of Curriculum Management in collaboration with Nature Trust Malta’s Leaf programme and Xrobb l-Għaġin’s education programme.
