CARACHI. On February 9, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, EVELYN, née Attard of Balzan, aged 86, went to meet the Risen Lord and her beloved husband Paul, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her daughter MaryRose and her husband Saviour Gauci, her son Alexander and his wife Rita, her grandchildren Claire and her partner Nedim, Pierre-Paul and his wife Pamela, Alex-William, Hubert-John and Karl-Matthew, her great-grandchildren Krista, Julian and Megan, her sister Katie, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 1.45pm for St Andrew parish church, Luqa, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery, in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CIAPPARA. On February 12, ROSE aged 91, widow of Francis, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children, Manuel and Tanya, Maria, Josette, Anna and Joseph, her grandchildren Sarah, Roberto, Sandro, Nadia, Marta, Sonia and Roberta, their spouses, great-grandchildren Adrian and Nathan, her sisters Doddy and Amy, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow at 8.30am at Annunciation church (San Duminku) Vittoriosa, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. On the February 12, at Villa M.SSma Annunziata, Balzan, Sr SERAFINA (Elena) DOUBLET, aged 93, of the Sisters of Charity, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the congregation of the Sisters of Charity, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 9.30am at the chapel of the convent of the Sisters of Charity, 55, Birbal Street, Balzan, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
FLERI SOLER. On February 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, BICE, née Vassallo Grant, aged 79, went to meet the Risen Lord and her beloved son Hugh, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her husband Joseph, her daughter-in-law Marvy, her daughter Graziella and her husband Mario Spiteri, her son Simon and his wife Romina, her grandchildren Matthew, Benjamin, Timothy, Jessica, Christianne and Ryan, her great-grandchild Samara, her sister Wanda and her brother Frank and his wife Margaret, her sisters-in-law Marie Louise, Doris and Carrie of Australia, her brother-in-law Renè Baldacchino, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday February 16, at 9am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.

GUELFI. On February 7, in Syracuse, Sicily, YVONNE née Mutton, aged 70, passed away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. Fondly missed by her husband Giorgio, her daughter Tiziana and her husband Marco, her son Fabrizio and his wife Valentina, her brother, sisters and their respective spouses, Roland and Kathleen, Melita and John Zammit, Dorothy and John Mallia, her brother-in-law Ermanno and his wife Cleria, uncles, aunties, nephews and nieces, amongst them the Rev. Fr. Michael Zammit, cousins, other relatives and friends, both in Malta and in Syracuse. The funeral was held in Syracuse on February 11. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be celebrated tomorrow at 9.15am at the chapel of the Ursuline Sisters Creche, Sliema.
