An annual national conference for companies providing apprenticeships to Mcast students was held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta, to discuss the reform of the apprenticeship scheme.

Since the reform was launched last August, 350 firms have been offering over 600 student training posts in areas such as finance and marketing, electronics and mechanical engineering, agriculture, construction, applied science, hairdressing and beauty and sports.

At the end of the conference Education Minister Evarist Bartolo presented the firms with certificates authorising them to use the Mcast apprenticeship partner logo on their company’s letterheads, websites and other official corporate material.
