CAMILLERI. On January 30th, Carmela nee Pace from Balzan at Karen Grech Hospital, aged 91, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband Joseph, her children Godfrey and his wife Victoria, Evelyn and her husband John, Patrick and his wife Carmen, Doris widow of Joseph, Gorgina and her husband Mario, Charles and his wife Sonya, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren her brother Emanuel and his wife Giza, her sister Imperia widow of Emanuel, her in-laws and their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The Funeral cortege, leaves Karen Grech Hospital tomorrow at 8.00am for Annunciation Parish Church, Balzan where a mass Praesente Cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Balzan Cemetery. No flowers by request. But Donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the Doctors and staff of Wards RW 2 and RW 6 of Karen Grech hospital and the staff of MMDNA for their Care and Dedication. The family are unable to receive visitors at home. VELLA. On January 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, Br JOSEPH A. VELLA, SJ, aged 91, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren of the Society of Jesus in Malta, his sister Sr Vincenza Vella, OFM, in Tunisia, Victoria, wife of George Galea, Alessia, Rose, widow of his brother Charlie, Emily, widow of his brother Frank (living in Australia), Mary, widow of his brother Leli (living in Australia), nephews, nieces, and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated today at 4pm at Loyola House, Naxxar, followed by interment at Naxxar cemetery. No flowers by request but dona­tions to the Jesuit Province Infir­mary at Loyola House, Naxxar, will be greatly appreciat­ed. May he rest in the peace of Christ.
