As part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, Gozo bishop Mario Grech, Rev. Kim Hurst of St Andrew’s Scots church and Fr Paul Muscat of the St Augustine community concelebrated an annual ecumenical service at St Augustine’s church, Victoria.

The event, held on the theme ‘The well is deep’, was organised by the Legion of Mary’s Gozo branch in collaboration with the Gozo diocese and the Anglican Community.

In his homily, the bishop referred to the Gospel reading of Jesus’s meeting with the Samaritan woman near a well and said there is place for people of different creeds in the Kingdom of God.

The Chorus Urbanus, under the direction of Mro John Galea, animated the celebration.
