• When goods turn out to be dangerous to consumers and their property, the producer is liable to provide compensation.
• Consumers may request compensation when they suffer personal injuries and damages to property.
• No claim can be brought against the manufacturer or supplier more than 10 years after the product was put into circulation.
• The liability to provide compensation cannot be limited or excluded by a contract term or notice.
