The marriage took place on January 31, 1965, at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. Mass was celebrated by Fr Salvino Galea, SJ. Hearty congratulations and much love from Daniela and Richard, Jerome and Janika, Ambrose and Jeppy, and grandchildren Sara, Michaela, Petra, Philippa and Pia.

Obituary

ELLUL. On January 29, at Dar tal-Kleru, Birkirkara, Fr RAPHAEL ELLUL, OFM Cap., aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss the Maltese Capuchin friars, his nephew Fr Rene Camilleri, his sisters Doris, Sr Dorothy, SJA, Rena, nephews and nieces. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 9.30am at the Floriana Capuchin church, followed by interment in the Capuchin Order’s grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

GRIMA. On January 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY IRIS, née Casa, aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved partner Carmelo Darmanin, her son John and his wife Rita, her granddaughters Charlene and her fiancé Jean-Pierre, Shirelle and her fiancé Ian, and Shanice, her brother Victor and his wife Carmen in Australia, her sister Mercedes, widow of Alfred Saliba, her aunt Gini, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

ZAMMIT. On January 30, at his residence in San Ġwann, JOSEPH, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Helen, Twanny, Egidio (widower of Rose), David, Norman, Margaret, Joyce, Charlie, Bernar­dette and Edwin (widower of Marie Claire) and their respective spouses, his 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, his son-in-law Calcidon (widower of his daughter Maryrose), his nephew Karmenu and his family, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves his residence at 1.30pm today for San Ġwann parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
