BALZAN. On January 28, at Boffa Hospital, MARY of Ħamrun, widow of Ġużeppi, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son, Fr Henry Balzan, parish priest of St Cajetan’s, Ħamrun, her daughter Rita and son-in-law Trevor Cattle, her brothers Lolly Caruana, Joe Caruana and his wife Gina, her sister Doris and her husband Joe Cardona, her god-daughter Marlene and her husband Joe Curmi, nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.50am for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass will be celebrated at 8.15am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. BONELLO. On January 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA YVONNE, née Azzopardi Ibbotson, of Fgura, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Francis, her son Anthony and his partner, her grandchildren Kurt and fiancée Chiara, Klye and his fiancée Dale and Kayleigh, her sisters Mary, widow of John Camilleri, Lilian, widow of Joe Bonnici, her in-law Doris and her husband Josef Ebejjer, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. DEGIORGIO. On January 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, TONY of Valletta (ex-Pharmacist, Mondial Pharmacy, Valletta), aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Antoinette, his children Antoine, Lucienne and Mark, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. GOUDER. On January 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANCESCO SAVERIO of Żejtun, former secretary, Beland Band Club, Żejtun, aged 84, peacefully went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will always be remembered and deeply missed by his wife Frances, his children Charles and his wife Marisa, MaryRose, and Mario, his grandchildren Sanchia, Glenda, Ilich, and Miryea, his great-grandchildren, his sister Carmelina, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.15pm for St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Philip, her sister Carmena and her husband Paul Cachia in Australia, her nieces Lauri and Joan and her husband Peter Fenwick, her great-niece Jemma, other relatives and friends. On January 29, JOSEPHINE, née Pisani, of Birkirkara, aged 68, peacefully went to meet the Risen Lord, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after a long illness borne with great Christian fortitude and faith in the Divine Mercy. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband John, her children Elaine and her husband Aaron Camilleri, Shirley and her husband Daniel Jobson, Matthew and Rebecca Channing, her grand­children Andrew and Leah, and Tara, her sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
