BALZAN. On January 28, at Boffa Hospital, MARY of Ħamrun, widow of Ġużeppi, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son, Fr Henry Balzan, parish priest of St Cajetan’s, Ħamrun, her daughter Rita and son-in-law Trevor Cattle, her brothers Lolly Caruana, Joe Caruana and his wife Gina, her sister Doris and her husband Joe Cardona, her god-daughter Marlene and her husband Joe Curmi, nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.50am for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass will be celebrated at 8.15am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. On January 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANCESCO SAVERIO of Żejtun, former secretary, Beland Band Club, Żejtun, aged 84, peacefully went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will always be remembered and deeply missed by his wife Frances, his children Charles and his wife Marisa, MaryRose, and Mario, his grandchildren Sanchia, Glenda, Ilich, and Miryea, his great-grandchildren, his sister Carmelina, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
