On January 27, at St Catherine Home, Attard, MARIA CRISTINA (Mary), née Meli Dingli, formerly of Valletta, widow of John and mother of the late John Joseph, aged 91, peacefully went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will always be remembered and deeply missed by her children Maria and her husband Edgar Borg, Rita and her husband Emanuel Tabone and Francis, her grandchildren Christian and his wife Mariella, Lara and her fiancé Varmo Habonen, Martha and Anthony, her sister-in-law Maria Pirotta of Australia, her brother-in-law Joseph F. Borg and his wife Pauline, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Catherine Home today at 1.30pm for St Mary’s parish church, Attard, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband John, her children Elaine and her husband Aaron Camilleri, Shirley and her husband Daniel Jobson, Matthew and Rebecca Channing, her grandchildren Andrew and Leah, and Tara, her sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
